Mapine allows users to manually save favorite locations on the map. This includes GPS information, an emoji, a name, and a description. All data is stored locally on the user's device, and our company does not collect or retain any user data since we do not have any servers or networking involved.
The collected data solely serves the purpose of displaying favorites on the map within the app. No user data is used for any other purposes.
Mapine does not utilize any third-party frameworks, analytics tools, or external services. The app operates independently on the user's device.
Mapine does not implement encryption or authentication measures as all data is stored locally on the user's device. Users have the option to manually export or import data to/from a file.
Currently, users cannot share data directly. However, future updates may include a feature allowing users to share lists of favorites with friends, and this functionality will be managed through Apple iCloud.
Mapine does not collect data about the places users add to their favorites.
